The Latin American Association of Pediatrics - ALAPE gives you a warm welcome to its fullest and most important international event the XVI Latin American Congress of Pediatrics.
The historic and magical city of Cartagena de Indias Colombia from November 14th to 18th 2012 welcomes us and the Colombian Society of Pediatrics host us.
The XVI Latin American Congress of Pediatrics after the First International Conference we had in Panama the first that by statute is directed by ALAPE through its Committee of Congress executive structure that is part of the Board with a commitment to standardized events organized technically objectively measurable and focused on achieving the maximum quality in pediatric academic meetings.
ALAPE renews the commitment to continue growing and establishing itself as the regional organization that represents and promotes the voice of pediatricians and children in the region.
      Cartagena de Indias on Colombia's Caribbean region is a great city that holds the secrets of history in their castles city walls and its narrow cobblestone streets lined with colorful houses and decorated facades of beautiful balconies. Declared by UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site in 1984 Cartagena adds to the charm of its colonial architecture republican and modern attractions of a vibrant nightlife cultural festivals lush landscapes beautiful beaches good food and an important infrastructure Hotel and tourism.
