On behalf of the Asian Society of Toxicology (ASIATOX), it is my pleasure to invite you to attend the 6th International Congress of Asian Society of Toxicology (ASIATOX-VI), which will be held on 17-20 July, 2012 in Sendai, Japan.
     The first congress of ASIATOX was held in 1997 in Yokohama, Japan. Congress of ASIATOX has been hosted by the member societies by rotation every three years. ASIATOX-VI is the second congress of ASIATOX held in Japan.
     Sendai is a city with a population of one million, and is the political and economic center of northeast region of Japan. Sendai is also known throughout Japan as a modern city in harmony with nature.
     The committee will ensure the scientific sessions take full advantage of the full spectrum of advances in toxicology. Wishing to share with all of you a creative and **rmative scientific event in Sendai, we look forward to meeting you and your colleagues in Sendai.
